Boot from the Windows To Go drive prepared in one of the Walkthroughs to complete setup. USB boot must be supported by the system firmware (BIOS or UEFI). The process for booting from a USB device will vary between different systems/manufacturers. The test systems were Lenovo Thinkpads. The F12 key on these systems opened a quick boot menu from which the USB device was selected.
If Walkthrough 1 was followed, a boot menu should be displayed. If only one entry has been created in the BCD store (as in Walkthrough 2) a boot menu will not be displayed.

Windows setup screenshots - Windows 10 (version 21H2) 64-bit. Using this verison of Windows one reboot was required to complete setup. Using Windows 8.1, two reboots were required to complete setup. Ensure that the Windows To Go drive is selected as the boot device following the reboot(s)
